x2 + 4x + 4

Sol :

$=x^{2}+4 x+4$

$=x^{2}+2 \times x \times 2+(2)^{2}$ $\left[a^{2}+2 a b+b^{2}=(a+b)^{2}\right]$

$=(x-2)^{2}$

Sol :

$=x^{2}+2\times x\times 3+3^{2}$ $\left[a^{2}+2a b+b^{2}=(a+b)^2\right]$

$=(x+3)^{2}$
