Question 6:

Locate the points A (1, 2), B (4, 2) and C (1, 4) on a graph sheet taking suitable axes. Write the coordinates of the fourth point D in order to complete the rectangle ABCD.

Question 7:

Locate the points A (1, 2), B (3, 4) and C (5, 2) on a graph sheet taking suitable axes. Write the coordinates of the fourth point D in order to complete the rhombus ABCD. Measure the diagonals of this rhombus and check whether they are equal or not.

Answer 7:

Co-ordinates of D =(3,0)
Distance AC = 4 unit
distance BD = 4 unit

Hence, we can see that diagonals of the given rhombus are of equal length i.e, 4 units.
