Sol :

=25×103=43

Reciprocal=34

=25×103 by (1213)

=34÷(1213)

=34÷(1×31×26)

=34÷(326)

=34×(61)

=34×(61)

=3×32=92

The product of two rational numbers is 3518. If one of the numbers is 512 , find the other.

Sol :

Let the other number is x

A.T.Q

x×512=3518

x=3518×125

x=79×61

x=73×21=7×23=143

By what number should 5518 be divided to get 229 ?

Sol :

Let that number be x

5518÷x=229

5518×1x=229

1x=229×1855

1x=21×25

1x=2×21×5=45

x=54

How many pieces of tape 347 cm long can be cut from a long tape , which is 1 meter 75 cm?

Sol :

[1 meter = 100 cm]

1 meter 75 cm = 100 cm + 75 cm =175 cm


Number of pieces=Total length ÷ small portion

=175÷347

=175÷3×7+47

=175÷257=175×725

=7×7=49 pieces

The cast of 513 m of cloth is 8513. Find the cost of cloth per meter.

Sol :

513 m of cloth is ₹8513

5×3+13 m=₹85×3+13

163m=2563

16 m = ₹ 256

1m=25616

1m=₹ 16
