2. Jai's class has 8 boys and 10 girls. Ashu's class has 6 boys and 8 girls. Which class has a higher ratio of boys to girls?

3. The ratio of boys to girls in a class is 3:2. If there are 33 boys, how many girls are there?

4. The ratio of the number of Sonia's beads to the number of Nandini's beads is 5:7. If Sonia has 65 beads. how many beads does Nandini have?

5. The length and breadth of a class room are in the ratio 3:5. If the breadth of the room is 20 m, find the length?

6. Bela and Reena share a reward of 150 in the ratio 2:3. How much does Reena get?

7. Parul, Daisy and Mrinal share 60 sweets in the ratio 9:7:4. How many sweets does Daisy receive?

8. A wire of length 88 cm is cut into three pieces. The lengths of the pieces are in the ratio 2:3:6. Find the length of the (i) shortest piece (ii) longest piece.

9. (i) Increase 540 in the ratio 6:7 

(ii) Decrease 440 kg in the ratio 11: 5
