(iv) The vertices of the trapezium EFGH. How long is FG ? How long is EH ?

The points A(-2,-1) , B(-2,3) , C(-6,3) are three corners of a square ABCD. Plot the points and find the point D. Give the coordinates of D.

Sol :

∴D is a point on square. So, its y-coordinate will be i.e.(-6)

Hence, point D(-6,-1) plotted

Plot the points A(-7,-3) , B(5,3) and mark the point C , the mid-point of the line segment AB. Give the coordinates of C.
